I'm glad I don't have the worries you describe anymore. Does it help to know you will get more secure with age? I dated a lot of guys before I got married, and none of them liked a "clinging vine." So, I always had a full calendar.Yes, back off and go with the flow. And know this- you are supposed to be in control. You could spend your time elsewhere if you wanted to, right? When he says he needs space, that's probably what he means, so give it to him. He's letting you know where his boundaries are, so you need to do likewise. Do what is best for you, and since you have moved away, you need to meet new people anyway. Concentrate on your life! Good luck.

You might try just living for yourself for awhile and concentrating on school. Give him some time to grow up and mature a little. Life is a long time to be taking on somebody else's problems all the time.

It really depends on the both of you. If he "wants space," that means he may be interested in ending it. You're still very young...there's plenty of time to find someone who will be your perfect match. My advice, don't sweat it. If it doesn't work out, there are PLENTY of people out there for you.

I would just end it. Distance is one of three major factors that affect relationships. Some guys don't know how to end reltationships. That is probably why he is acting weird.

Ask him does he still like you? If he does stay with him, there is no shame in that.
