I started using Crest White Strips yesterday, and I will be using them 2 times a day. I am supposed to get my final results on my teeth in 14 days. On the box, it says "Teeth stay whiter for 12 months", but I hear a lot of people who used them, they said their reults only lasted 6 months. Will mine last longer or the same as theirs, because I make sure to brush after every meal, floss once a day, and use a special mouthwash my orthodontist recommended for me to use when I got my braces off.

What's in the "special rinse" that you are using? If it has stannous fluoride (it will say on the bottle). it will definitely stain your teeth with time. After bleaching, only use products with sodium fluoride so they won't stian your new white teeth! If you stay away from staining drinks or drink through a straw, and don't smoke, your bleaching results will last anywhere from 8 tto 24 months!

If you are going to use crest white strips make sure you buy the supreme version from your dentist. They are a little stronger and should not cost more than $40 for a 30 day kit. But if you have $300-400 to spare, go with the Zoom system. It is a 1 hour bleach treatment that your dentist can buy and perform, and uses a light/laser that will make your teeth very white. If you take good care of your teeth the level of white you get from the treatment will last for 2-3 years.

I used them twice a day for 30 days. My teeth were only marginally whiter and now 2 months later you can't tell I used them at all. I brush well have no cavities, floss daily.

Depends on how much you use cigarettes, chewing tobacco, tea, coffee, colas, wine, and other staining drinks/foods as well as how often you brush etc.
