Yeah I was in the same position and had the best year long relationship wtih my best friend, (who i loved and so would marry now even 5 years later) but now I'm lucky if I get to talk to him once in a while. We didnt even end on bad terms.

Long story short, are u willing to risk losing what your best friend and you have over a relationship that may not last?

I was once in the same scenario, and no doubt my best friend and I were attracted to each other...people would say how perfect we would be if we got together, but we always avoided it and thought about our friendship first. One night, we decided to try it out. It felt exciting at first, but felt VERY awkward. Things started to change between us, it was a whole new ball game. Things have never been the same ever since and I wish it never happened.

I think you should concentrate on the guy you are with right now and see where that relationship is going. Are you happy with him? If you're thinking about your best friend, it could be that you're comparing the two...or just lusting something different.

As for your best friend, prepare for the consequences if you decide to make a move...if things don't go the way you thought it would, you might lose a good thing. I did.

I would leave it as best friends. Friends are hard to come by. But you could see how that person feels about you. You don;t want to lose that friendship. You might think you feel that way, because they are their for you and you have a good time together. and nobody else feels better, don't get the two confused. I wish you best wishes and lots of luck, Spend time more with your boyfriend, and not think about your friend as much. Give your boyfriend your complete attention, he deserves that much. Do more with your boyfriend have fun with him. Remember you are with him Don't hurt him unnecessarily. If you can't do that then you should leave him, But most of all BE HONEST, WITH EVERYONE INVOLVED. GOOD LUCK!

Are you happy with your current boyfriend? If so, then please put the best friend out of your mind and keep him as a best friend. A best friend doesn't necessarily translate into "boyfriend material"; also, just because a lot of people are suggesting that this other guy and you would be great together doesn't mean that this will be the case.

Okay to give you tough love.... If you have a boyfriend that you like/love (which ever u prefer) so much, then there's no way you would think of the other one!!! If you want to keep the relationship that you are in now, then don't say anything, because if you do its bound to be a mistake for you and ur not going to be happy.....
Good luck!!

You shouldn't have a relationship with any body just because others tells you, that you could be a good couple. There should be love or at least something like it to start a relationship. Take your time and question him how he feels about you, from there you can make a decision.

You should not be dating someone, if your not completely sure about being with them, and commiting to a relationship can only lead to failure if both partners are not ready and devoted. Maybe you should just not have a boyfriend and stick with being both of their friends, dont lie to either boy, make sure your honest. If you lie you will get caught and lose both guys

so if you have a great relashionship already i dont think you should ruin it!!! but if like your friend more then you should talk to him about it or have a friend tell him for you!!!
if u tell him then tell him that you think you like him better then your b/f!!!!!

Maybe see what he thinks. He might have the same thing on his mind. Never hurts to ask.

I think if you want to be with him, you've gotta dump your current guy. That's just how it works unfortunately. Good luck.
