Yes there is definite truth in that saying. 20 years ago my wife had an affair for 3 years, or more, with a mafia type man. Tore my heart to pieces, would have caught on to it sooner, but when truly in love with someone, you don’t think of that happening. I was terribly hurt , almost left her, but could not leave her with that person, it would have destroyed her, in time. She was so impressed, he through money about, like it were water, $ 300 bottles of wine, etc.. But she would have lost me forever, she knows that and could not bear to live without me. She bore me two more children, beautiful as they are. Now she has passed and I miss her so, she treated me great and so hurt by her deeds, she would do anything for me, actually all I wanted was the touch of her hand , her smile and stuff like that. More precious than anything that we overlook sometimes, oh but for those days, I'd give anything or everything I have, just for a moment.

thats what people who have issues say. I think that everyone says that at some point in there life but things don't work out for a reason. Hiense sight is 20-20. Everyone makes the mistake of doing the whole shoulda coulda wouldas and that just gets you into trouble, it is what it is. Deal with it. Why grag anything out. take what you learned from it and leave it at that. that person just wasn't for you, look at it this way you are now closer to the one you are supposed to be with. Good Luck

yes, I do. And it feels bad when you hear it 'cause the truth hurts. But it's true.
Knowing what you have while you have it and then loosing it, and then knowing it is truer than ever, then hearing that song is even worse.
Not standing a chance, and loosing something just because you didn't know how to deal with it, and seeing how it slips away until it fades away beats everything.

Yeah...of course! Cuz' we take our family and friends for granted. Thinking that they're always going to be there to help us whenever we need it. But once they're gone, and we realize we need them and that our life wouldn't be the same w/o them. We then, finally, realize how much of an impact they made on our lives and how much we needed them whether we were in trouble or whatever. So that saying defanitly is CHESSY, but TRUE!

Yes because usually in relationships we take the other person for granted at some point. When that person is gone, we then tend to realize how much we need that person in our lives to be a whole.

I think it's true because some people miss treat others when they have them and then find someone later that's not like the person that left or they miss having that person around

yes, and it can work either way, sometimes you dont realize how BAD something is until its gone and you find something better. But yes, I believe that. It might take a long time to realize it, but I have had that experience.
