Put eggs in pot of cold water, add a tablespoon of salt, put on fire and bring to a boil. Set timer for 5 minutes. Turn fire off and let eggs set for 4 or 5 minutes. Drain off water and run cold water over eggs until pan or pot is cool to touch. Add a tray of ice cubes over eggs and fill pot with cold water and let set until ice has melted then remove eggs. PERFECT HARD BOILED EGGS EVERY TIME.

DEVIL EGGS:

Peel Eggs, cut in halves, scoop out yoke with a fork and put in a bowl. When all egg yokes are removed from eggs and placed in a bowl, use a fork and mash them to a fine texture.

The secret of making an excellent Deviled Egg is to use a HOT Mustard (preferably one with Horseradish). Put 4 or 5 tablespoons (more depending on the number of eggs used) into mashed egg yokes and mix well. Then add a table spoon of Miricle Whip Salad Dressing into mixture and add more until you get a thick mixture. Then using a fork, add portions of mixture back into the egg halves. Drag the fork across the mixture to give it an appealing look. For additional addional garnishment, cut some Green Stuffed Olives in half and push a half olive into the center of each half.

Boil the eggs on medium-high heat for 10 - 15 minutes for hard boiled.

Deviled eggs- hard boil eggs, peel, cut in half (length wise), remove center into a medium to large bowl. Put in about 1 1/2 cups of mayonaise, 2 - 3 tablespoons of prepared mustard (out of a bottle), you can add 1 tablespoon of pickle relish if you like it, salt, pepper, and onion powder to taste. Mix very well, until smooth. Carefully spoon mixture back into egg whites. Place in tupperware container or on a plate. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika.

Enjoy!

Boil the eggs for at least 10 minutes.

Plunge into cold water. I crack the top and bottom and put back into the cold water, this makes the eggs very easy to peel.

Good luck!

DEVILED EGGS
8 large hard-cooked eggs
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 dashed hot sauce, or to taste
paprika for sprinkling
Discard shells from eggs and slice each egg in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and arrange whites on a plate.

In a bowl mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, and salt and pepper to taste and spoon mixture into whites. Chill deviled eggs, covered, 1 hour.

Just before serving sprinkle eggs with paprika and serve cold.

It only takes 10 mins. for real. Place the eggs in a pot on a stove, turn the heat on then once the eggs start to boil cover the pot with a lid/top that's tight to fit. Let the eggs boil for 10 mins. then turn the heat off, but leave the top on for about more 10 mins. The eggs are ready! Run them over cool water, and peel!

For boiled eggs, I bring water to a roiling boil, then put the eggs in and let boil about 10 to 12 minutes. Then I dump the hot water out and put in cold.

I don't remember the exact recipe my mother uses for deviled eggs filling, but I do remember that she uses mustard, relish, I think mayonaise, and paprika on top. And she uses a cake-decorator bag to put the filling into the eggs.

For hard boiled eggs, I place eggs in water to cover, bring to boil, andturn down to simmer for ten minutes. The shells are easier to remove when cooked this way. Cool, then shell. cut eggs in half.scoop yolks into a dish.add 1tbsp minced fresh minced, 1/3 cup mayo, and 2 tbsp mustard to yolks. Blend until smooth. Return yolk mixture to halved egg whites. sprinkle with paprika, and garnish with parsley sprigs.

10 min for hard
I just use mayo, a little dijon mustard and dill pickle relish then s&p to taste. Put in a little mayo at a time till it is the consistancy you like then just a teaspoon of mustard. Adjust to taste.
