I think you guys ought to read his question again! Jim_Darwin was trying to make a point what is going on in our country right now. He was just saying if you have faith in God whom you had never seen before in your life and you let your imaginary supreme being influence your Constitution and that is wrong.
You should apologize to Jim_Darwin right now.

I easily have not got faith you will desire to ought to justify your ideals contained in the 'the place did we come from' question to others. in case you legitimately have faith creationism to be the respond, then so be it. Conversely, in case you think of Darwin replaced into top, than logically you're. Which e book you opt to place your faith in, is a deeply very own and subjective question. As you rightly element out, a perception that technological information can (at last) clarify each and every thing demands a definite quantity of religion contained in the medical technique. And a similar is genuine for having a perception in an all-encompassing rigidity that gave beginning to the universe. the main suitable answer is that we are basically uncertain, yet we've some comments. contained in the tip, the main serious ingredient to undergo in strategies is know and compassion for the viewpoints of others. we are all on a experience to make experience of life and the comments human beings attain for, are significant to that top's information. My different suggestion is to no longer sense embarrassed for expressing an opinion or perhaps having an opinion on the undertaking.

I think that you make an excellent point.
I would also like to add, in reference to a prior answerer, that in democracy, the majority does NOT rule when it comes to certain freedoms, such as freedom of speech and religion.
If the majority ruled, bans on interracial marriage would never have been abolished, slavery may still be with us, etc.
No, there are things that we consider RIGHTS, that cannot be taken away from individuals, regardless of what the majority wants to do.
It's what separates a free society from totalitarian societies, in which the majority can p1ss all over the minorities.
It really is a shame that so many people, like that guy, are so ignorant regarding what it really means to live in a democratic society.
PS: Ratdogrules is a complete liar regarding evolution. That's not an opinion or a rant, but a fact, and I can back that up with evidence:

When will creationists stop lying?

I am going to be 29 next week, so I'd better get a move on I guess.
Everyone, including you, has faith in something. We have faith in things and take it for granted all the time. You have faith your brakes will work when you press on them, and so on.
I am sure you are really asking these questions to allow yourself to think as much as you want others to think, and that is to be commended. But, you do allow yourself to have some fun, right?

Since America is a democary if you wanted to change a law with ideas like that you would have to be popular. One man ideas are hard to convince people to change the thoughts of others. Some people join a religion because its popular. Personally I din't mind if you have faith in something I don't. I will still respect your ideas and opinions.

A bit snarky, but I get where you're going.
Religious "beliefs" that put certain groups at a disadvantage, or have no real basis should not be used to base laws upon. Why no same-sex marriage? Because one religious group thinks it's a "sin?" Who cares? If they think it's a sin, then they can't have same-sex marriage and they can leave everyone else alone!

It means since Evolution has never been *proven* scientifically that it is faith based, not fact based. No missing link has ever been found that was not later found to be wrong.
One of the biggest problems is this... If this missing link was an ape that turned man, and evolution is supposed to occur over millions of years, that would mean that millions of these ape/men lived and died over that time span. If that many lived and died, why can't we find even 1 fossil. Sounds pretty fishy to me. Unfortunately most evolutionists can't deal with this and get extremely angry when you point this "fact" out. Then comes the name calling etc...(It's called religious zeal) Welcome to the Church of Evolution.
Oh...and by the way, look at the post under me, see what I'm saying about the name calling? Is this science or religion? Thanks for proving my point.

You're so silly. Your one eyed one horned purple people eater is a NEW idea of god. We need to stick with the OLD idea of god, cause we all know, old ideas are better than new ones.....
For one example.....ummmm.....
Guess I'll have to get back to ya on that one =)

Better to believe in God and not mock God because in the end if you're wrong you have nothing to lose. Don't believe and Mock God and get proven wrong then you've lost everything. Mock all you want bud, your breaths on this earth are numbered and my money's on God having the last laugh, but you are funny.
