I'm not scared to fly...but today's events have made me dread it. Security lines were bad enough before. And if they ban carry-on luggage, that will be the end of my flying days. There is no way I am going to put my laptop, cell phone, GPS or digital camera in checked bags...not the way I've had my luggage lost time and time again or the horror stories I've heard from people having items stolen or destroyed from their checked bags.

I was afraid to fly before todays events. If the general public knew about the goings on at the airports, on the tarmac, with gate agents hitting airplanes, and not reporting it, and engineers making repairs with duct tape.

Since September 11, flying has always been a little scary, but i don't think you should let that stop you from going places and doing things

I'm feeling a little more apprehensive, but no - I'm not afraid. You can't let terrorism begin to control your life. I'm flying next week, and I've never even thought about canceling my trip.

Yes. I would under special circumstances, but that's it. When I hear people say ,"well, if it's MY time..." I would rather not spend 3 or so hours in a sweat-drenched state of mind, HOPING that I don't get blown up.

No, but my belief system is that if it's meant to happen, it's gonna happen.
Wether I get on a plane or not.
