what chemicals should you look for that are bad for your hair other than alcohol?

ALL chemicals are BAD for your hair cause they damage it to some degree or another, However, professionals have access to products including hair color that actually can make your hair look better when you go out than when you came in.

Sorry to say but all chemicals are bad for ur hair. Its even bad to wash and condition ur hair everyday. Trust me I no I went to school and studyd this stuff.

if you mean like in shampoo and stufff... try finding an all natural shampoo or something. of course dyes are bad. but yeah alcohol (PANTENE especially) dries your hair out, makes it seem thinner even. look for protein shampoos and conditioners

well bleach is bad and some people use bleach just to make the color blonde
