I am a dog after all, that's what we do! But every time I go to take a big whiff of a crotch or butt, I get yelled at. What's up with that?

I don't have a black tongue - I'm a husky mix, no chow.
Yes, typing with paws is hard, I use my toenails and type very slowly.

People don't like dogs to sniff their butts or crotches, it's an invasion of privacy!!

People get uncomfortable when being sniffed by a dog, that will signify others that your crotch is not clean.

Freja, what kind of dog are you? I know a long-haired Shar-Pei who, if you put your face in a scowl, would be your twin. Since you are so good at typing, why don't you e-mail you master/mistress and tell them butt-sniffing: "Is a 'dog thing,' you wouldn't understand."

Its okay to sniff other dogs but not people they take offense. Most people are afraid of chow's anyway, must be the black tongue.

Just don't sniff people's butts or crotch. It tells other people that they are not clean.

You're a dog so I guess that's normal. It would be embarrassing to be your owner though. Your owner's friends would probably stop visiting because of that.

no doggy, its not wrong..... its ur way of communicating to people...... ( at least dats what i heard in "Doctor Dolittle" ) its not bad...... but its embarrasing for people your sniffing...... If someone sees you sniffing your master's butt or something, they would think he's wierd or smelly...... so if possible, refrain from sniffing.... in public...... while in private...... it's up to you.... hehehe
