Yes and no. Helpful? Let me explain...No, because he is the son of God and Yes because he is part of God. God is actually 3 persons...the Father (God), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is up in heaven at the right hand of the father while the Holy Spirit is down here on earth. Honestly...I don't truly understand the concept of how God can be himself and 3 other persons. Maybe a pastor or some other minister will come and provide a better answer. :)

According to the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ is the Son of God, The Son of Man, The Truth, The Way, He is God in the flesh of man. The bible says: In the beginning there was God and the Word was with God, the Word was God.
The Godhead-is the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost: they are all one being but they each have separate roles, with on purpose.
I am a christian but I am open-minded. In every religion there is a Messiah, a Prophet, and a Holy Being. Every religion has there own name for each. In Christianity our Messiah is Jesus.

God is the creator , Jesus is his son on earth (God in his own liking) and The Holy Spirit is Jesus after he was crucified.
Thats the Holy Trinity.
Before Jesus God could only cover to protect (like a blanket)He created Jesus to prove God is here , But still he couldnt work "through" people. When Jesus was crucified his "spirit "
went into the world to be accepted by believers. Now God is around and within.
I hope you understood this.I go on and on sometimes.

Jesus Christ is the Father the Son and the Holy spirit, three in one, i know it's commplicated but think of an egg, you have the shell, the white and the yolk, it all makes an egg, it wouldn't be an egg without all those three things, so you see, God is the father the Son ( Jesus Christ) and the Holy spirit

It is a question of faith. If you believe in the concept of a supreme creator, then no, because according to the Bible and other religious texts, Jesus was born of Mary and was a human, ie, a creation of God.
Some people avow that No, he was God in human Form. Sorry, I don't buy that because why would the Creator need to be created?
I believe that there is No God except God and will wait to find out the truth after I die.

If you accept the validity of St. John's Gospel, yes. It is rather clear on that fact...just read the first chapter (or even the first 14 verses.) If you do not, the point is arguable on the basis of any of the other Gospels and support can be given to either answer depending on which selection you choose. If you consider no Gospel valid, then I would say you are asking the wrong question. That is...this question only has value if asked between Christians.

God is three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three persons, but one God. Don't try to figure it out with human reasoning. That is why this is called a mystery of faith. The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, indivisible, yet separate persons.

Gee, you already have quite a pile of answers. Yes, Jesus is (present tense) God. Jesus is the physical embodiment of the spirit of love that is God. As the Apostle Paul put it in his first letter to Timothy, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5)
Also, by referring to himself as "The Son of God", Jesus was leaving no doubt that he was God. This would have been obvious to the Hebrew culture that he lived in while he was on earth. To their minds he was saying exactly that he was God. That's why they nailed him to the cross.

Depending on which religion you believe in, Jesus is a prophet, an avatar, a physical incarnation of God/avatar, or the physical son of a physical God. Some believe in God but not Jesus. Some think of him as a continuation of a long line of similar Gods. It's alot to think about. Hope you come to an answer that makes you feel secure.
