it does depend on what we think is best it depends on what makes you happy, for u see the hairstyle that you pick, that is what will be on your head, plus if you dont like it, it will take a while to grow out!

if you have a long face, try longer messy layers around it, which requires you to grow it out a bit

go to a beautician and have them help you. It's hard to tell you without knowing your own personal sense of "style".
