He could have turned it into anything He wanted; an endlessly long line, a redemptive and educational school, a place of endless sleeping... There are so many more humane ways of dealing with non-believers, why would he chose suffering and torture as the best way?

The Bible is just a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve etc, and of course some intriguing imaginary places like Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Limbo.

I certainly don’t believe in the Bible and I doubt any reasonably intelligent person would either. However, if you view the Bible as a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve, Noah, and so on, then you can certainly start to see a clever interwoven plot, that the audience is unaware of. It’s really just a drama thriller with clever twists.

You see, if you seriously think about it in an unbiased manner, then clearly the actor God in the Bible could really be the Devil, and the audience (religious believers) are being sucked into being the bad guys, who then use religion to get everyone fighting each other.

On the other hand, the more intelligent audience (Atheists) spot the plot and try their best to teach believers that this is just nonsense, stop getting sucked in. Some people have over time decided that the play is real. That's very sad.

Current evidence proves conclusively that the Bible was produced by the Devil.

Once again, for all you naive believers, clearly the Bible is full of terrible atrocities and evil, far more than nice things, but of course believers will just ignore or twist the atrocities into whatever soothes their confused minds – “Hey, that’s OK, God made everything so it’s alright for him to do whatever he wants, he’s good” – yeah, right – get a grip for goodness sake.

If you can’t see that the Bible is in fact the Devil’s work then you’re deceiving yourself. Commonsense and logic should guide you away from the Bible, just look at the mess the world has become with all you religious believers. You’re following Satan!

God is in trouble, not the other way round, and he needs your help. Forget the Bible and start learning to be sensible and you’ll see the real light. The Devil has tricked the whole lot of you and got you following his work, and you’ve no idea what you’re doing.

God didn't make hell. Hell was made up by the Catholics as a way of controlling its members through fear tactics.

Sheol or Hades is infact simply the common grave. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says: 'For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the rememberance of them has been forgotten.'

Rather when you die, after having lived a 'good' life or a 'bad' life you are simply dead awaiting a future resurrection to earth where you will be given a second chance - John 5:28, 29 'Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things.... and those who practiced vile things'.

that is the same as saying "why isn't jail more pleasant?" the bible says that hell was created for satan and his angels. the punishment must fit the crime. if you kill and rape people your whole life and finally get caught sometime and a judge said you can just go to school somewhere or go to sleep for awhile, that judge would be removed from his bench immediately for being unjust. whoever is in hell is there because they have spent there lives sinning against a holy, eternal and infinitely perfect God. he can't just sweep everyone's sin underneath the rug of the universe and let everyone off the hook. he wouldn't be just and perfect then. instead all we have to do is repent and believe in the true, biblical Jesus and we can have eternal life.

Life wasn't terribly cushy when God, through his proxy the Church of Rome, was laying out what happened when you die. Dying at 35 was a long life, plagues were pretty common, wars were what followed each Tax season and murder was a passtime, not to mention how easilly people got crippled. There needed to be a consequence that really grabbed you and at that time not a lot of folks were being set on fire, it was a bright flashy idea that really captured the imagination so they ran with it and suddenly the timeless dark abyss sinners were condemned to caught on fire.

He did not make it for people but for Satan and his angels. It was made a bad place so they would not be any more but would burn up. It is some that want to turn you from God that repeats the lie Satan told in the garden of eden, that you will not die. The wages of sin is death, do do you die or don't you die? Who are you going to believe, God or Satan. Those that choose Hell will be burned up, turned to ashes, will die and be no more. There is no eternal life in Hell but only in Heaven. Those that go to Hell will be burned up and die just as God said they will. Check out the site below and do the studies that are there and you will learn a lot of the truth of the bible.

When did God say he wanted hell to be a awful place. Hell was concocted by religious leaders to scare people. God has never even said that there is going to be hell. Don't quote me the bible because the bible was written by humans to serve their own purpose.

The suffering and torture part is conjecture on the part of people.

The real hell is knowing that you are parted from God's love and that you can never get it back.

It doesn't have to be fire and brimstone. It could be unrelenting loneliness, wandering a desert with no other contact until the end of time.

You might be surprised to learn that "hell" is the common grave of mankind. I am going to include a link to an article that you can read that has scriptures you can look up in your own Bible to prove this.

Because that's what we deserved. Hell is for the sinners who did not turn against their bad ways and go to the Lord. We don't have to go to Hell. We just need to invite Christ into our lives.

That's why I don't believe there is a God or a Hell! There is no earthly reason why God would want to torture his creations just for not believing in him!
