I have heard from many many Navy wives, that the Family Separation Allowance is going up from $250.00 to $750.00. Anybody else heard of this?

The President has tried to get it through Congress. Congress is fighting more pay for the military that they support.

never happen. won't ever pass the budget. Besides, the restriction on it were going to be huge..as in it would only go into affect after being deployed for six months.. so for the first six months, you would get the regular $250. Months 7 on would rate the $750/month. Commands would get away with having to pay it by having them come home just before the new rates would kick in.

havent heard anything about a increase except for the annual increase in Jan.
