Well, I'm from Illinois and all I do is go on the IL State Police website and there's a place on there where you can view the pictures and profiles of the sex offenders in and around your county!

Depends on which state you are in. Type "[name of state] sex offender registry" into a search engine, and you will most likely find out.
Why do you care if a sex offender lives next door?

Some states have a link that you can usually find on the state police site. Do a search for your state by typing in: (your state)sex offender registry

if you google the key word "sex offender", you can actually find websites that provide a list of convicted sex offenders that live in your neighborhood.
i dont know the exact site, but i looked it up once and it was really easy to find.

go to the site and it will ask for your address street name and somethning else but it does work i got it from the oprah show i think this is it
