Now, right from the outset I will tell you that I don’t believe in God, but I know some of you do for various reasons.
Now, take the following Bible quote:
Reference Isaiah 13:15-18
“Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.”
This is means that God allows women raped and your little children slaughtered.
So would you allow your children to be dashed to death with no mercy or compassion, if allowed by God?

I knew a christian fanatic who's 4 year old daughter was terribly sick and had a fever of 107. She actually called all family members to join her in a prayer circle to thank jesus for choosing her child! And told her daughter to go with baby jesus!
Instead of getting her child to the hospital, she actually just let her lay there and suffer!
Thankfully the little girl made it through o.k.
That made me sick

I am a Christian and I could not do it. I can say that I would and could probably go right to the point of sacrifice, but if it ever came right down to it; I would fail God. I also believe that God would never ask one of us to sacrifice our children in that way. He will ask for other sacrifices more in tune with todays world and times. Funny thing is; most of us fail in these areas too. Humans, including Christians, fail alot. At least we can ask forgineness and try better the next time.
How great is God though to be able to do that for us. How many of us love the world and the human race so much we would be willing to put our son to death to save it? God did and didn't even blink an eye about it. There was no ram in the bushes, like there was for Abraham. God knew what had to happen and he did it, no flinching. Pretty incredible. What a mighty God we serve.

No way in hell I'd ever allow such a thing to happen. I live about 45 minutes from John D. Long Lake, where psycho Susan Smith let her children drown in her car. I've been there once since all that stuff went down, and it chilled my spine to drive through there.
