It is called
"The Tuxedo Princess"
Tuxedo Princess, Hillgate Quay, Gateshead 0191 4778899

Known locally as 'The Boat' this floating nightclub is moored under the Tyne Bridge with access from the Gateshead side of the quay.

Many different theme rooms to suit all tastes. Great riverside views, barbecued food on deck, and revolving dancefloor all add to making this a great place to club.

If my memory serves me correctly, Tuxedo Junction was the name of the night club (on dry land) which preceeded the boat, and I think it was owned by Michael Quadrini.

I have a vague recollection of delicious ice cream made by a company called Quadrini - possibly the same family.
