Now that the Iraq war has become nothing more than a civil war over democracy vs. dictatorship, who do you think Allah wants to be in charge? I've read that Sunnis outnumber Shia by about 8 to 1, but the Shia are doing a darn good job of defending themself and the new DEMOCRATICLY ELECTED Iraqi governement! Is Allah on their side against the infidel Sunni?

It's not Allah, it should be up to the people of Iraq who should choose. Remember Allah has given us brains and we should use it to live in peace. So far Allah has done nothing to achieve that illusive peace.

You've got to be kidding me. Why do you care what Allah wants? If Allah wants death and destruction for mankind, then why worship him. Life about LOVE not hate....it's about tolerance....and doing for others....my Grandmother was a wonderful woman who lived life with a very simple philosophy... she called it a recipe for a beautiful life:

Beautiful words
Beautiful deeds
Why don't you try following that...it doesn't have to be that complicated...I guarantee you she is looking down on all of us from heaven right now because she lived a life of love for her fellow man. You keep the attitude you have right now...and I guarantee you will burn in hell.

nicely, i'm a shia. my family members isn't probable that religious. yet nicely, what you say is kinda incorrect(in accordance to my religious analyze at college). shias believe that muhammad replaced into the appropriate prophet too. however the adaptation between shia and sunni is that we believe after muhammad there wouldn't have been usman and omar. as a results of fact muhammad(pbuh) mentioned that Ali replaced into like his brother and after him, ali could be showing human beings the main dazzling way... sunni and shia are the two the two suitable, as we don't understand whose tale is authentic. desire i helped :)

sunni's are the minority.
saddam was a sunni.
this is what the civil war is about. not democracy.
sunnis and shia have had an ongoing "debate" over who should lead the church.
