would it be my responsibility to teach them and heal them when they're hurt? Would I be required to put all my signs and labels in cockroach language and learn to speak cockroach?

If they had babies, would I be responsible for feeding them?

Or could I just call the Orkin man and eradicate them?

Just trying to get a little perspective, same type of pests, just fewer legs...

Calling illegal aliens 'cockroaches' is kind of counterproductive, it's an insult, most likely an intentional one.

Let's get the border fence built, get the US Border Patrol on the job, get the ICE in full effect, and get legislation on the books that prevents people from getting hired illegally, and deported if they're found out.

I do believe it'll take nothing less than a unified national effort to effectively address this problem, I think we're going to see a level of persistence and resistance to change on this one that we haven't ever seen in our lifetimes...still, don't call people 'roaches', that just pours gasoline on the fire. Instead, call for people to try and invest somehow in Mexico so they can get their own economy built to the point where it'll support their own people. More happy news at home and less prospects here will help turn things around, eventually...and it sure wouldn't hurt the people OF Mexico to try and hurry this stuff along, that is if they intend on remaining trade partners etc. This 'poor cousin' stuff has to stop...partly because it's not really true anymore. Mexico's got money, they're just not really using it to fix their country. I'll bet if they didn't get any more tourists from america 'til they got their act together, that'd hurry things along...I'll never go there...

First of all, this is extremely offensive. To liken immigrants to roaches is like calling african-americans ******* or caucasians crackers or asians chinks. It's ignorant and that's the type of backward thinking that's led to holocausts and genocides.

Now that we realize that we are talking about living, breathing humans who come because they want a better chance at life, let's move on and let me pose a question to you.

Aren't we all immigrants?

Whether it was the Mayflower, the slave ship, or the boat fom Cuba the only difference is in the length of time that we've been in the country. Maybe the Indians should get together and protest us and call us names and try to exterminate us.

So, you perspective is that illegal aliens are insects, not human beings. Dehumanizing someone is a great way to start down the path to lets' just kill or enslave them all.

Not happy about the immigration issue either, but basically denying their humanity isn't a good way to find a practical and effective solution.

Well, is this house really yours? Do you know exactly how YOU came to be living in "your" house...I mean, do you own the whole darn thing? Did you decide the purpose of your house, or did someone before you want to make it a place people could come to when they suffered in the the place they lived before?

Perhaps I haven't answered you...but then again...

I don't think you really wanted to ask a question. You just wanted to make a point.

It didn't work for me. Sorry.

If the cockroaches became legal citizens of the house and transfomed into men and learned to speak English then I would probably do nothing.

But, if a bunch of cockroaches came into my house without permission... I'd put on my cockroach-stomping-boots and give 'em a piece of my sole!!

obviously ur some sort of white supremacist who uses this as an outlet for ur anger. yea they might be illegal but they still live in this country and work their asses off for a better life for themselves or their families. they probly work longer and harder than u do and take jobs u never would and do all of america's dirty work. they have probably done for america more than u ever will, so like it or not they are just as american as u r.

They are like ants too. we think they are harmless but get a bunch together you have a formidable army. We just need to put more traps at the border. Cerveza and frijoles would make an excellent bait.
