I think it's time to keep track of just who's coming in here, but I don't think it's necessary to leave one's heritage at the gate, unless you're suggesting doing away with things like the St. Patrick's Day parade, pizza, Chinese food, etc.
I'm sure all the hijackers on 9/11 could speak English, so that proves nothing. You seem to want to use this latest scare as an excuse for your hatred of anyone not born here.

HELL NO!I thank goodness my parents (mexican),brought their culture and heritage with them.I am grateful they taught me all of it.Why would they have to leave it behind?It is like draining your blood out of your body.They respect the country because they are legal.But imagine how boring this country would be without the different people?

well at least 'come in peace, or don't come at all'...I don't think you ever really get rid of your heritage, it's kind of like a burn mark, it'll never really ever go away, you won't pay as much attention to it though if you busy yourself with other things besides trying to figure out how to get free money for something that happened to one of your long-deceased relatives 200 years ago or whatever...those lawyers sure are some gosh-darned clever people...

no way but i do believe it's time to suspend the rules that bind us and start to terrorize the terrorists. for instance captured confirmed and convicted muslim terrorists be locked up in a cell with a pig until they are put to death and then buried with said pig
