It would help if we knew any specific locations you were interested in. I went to BYU which has an incredible linguistics program (including spanish & Portuguese), but I don't know if you're anywhere near the western portion of the United States. Just look for something that has a good linguistics program, ask your education and career counselors at your high school to help. (Another good hint is to find a school with masters programs in those languages).

Most colleges (if not all) offer Spanish classes, and far fewer will offer Portuguese.
If you are looking to learn a language, College is a very good choice!
I'm disappointed, at the community college I will be attenting, they will not offer German 201 or the second semester class, so I am bummed.. but there are plenty of Spanish classes open though naturally. :(

intense college: German and Spanish college: French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, chinese language, sign Language, Latin and Hebrew. i'm uncertain if that's each and every of the languages for the college, i'm helpful there are greater. And we are able to take courses at yet another interior of reach college. soo... i'm uncertain what languages are presented.

My only experience is with UNM in Albuquerque, NM and they have excellent Spanish and Portuguese programs.
