It seems to be that the biggest reason people have for b*tching about smokers is that they're "going to get cancer from the second hand smoke." If I'm not mistaken, this applies to a non-smoker who LIVES with a smoker, or someone who works in a smoking environment...someone who is around smoke on a regular basis and inhales it all the time. I don't really think this applies to people who have to walk past a guy smoking outside the door to the mall. Chances are, you probably don't even inhale any of his smoke.

If you're constantly hanging out at places that allow smoking (i.e., a bar) I'm guessing you have far bigger problems then worrying about second hand smoke.

Other than this, what's the argument for you not liking smoke? (Legitimate answers, please. I don't care if it smells bad...that doesn't count. I think your perfume smells like sh*t, but I don't berate you for it.) Obviously medical conditions (asthma, i.e.) have already been taken into account, and don't count)

I'm with you. a new light everything you do will give you cancer eventually. I myself am a smoker, if I develope lung cancer and die it is my own choice. If I choose to sit in a resturaunt full of other smokers, that's on me too. if a non smoker doesn't like it, there are resturaunts and other non smoking facilities to be. I'm not going to blow smoke in anyone's face .
