You can go to Microsoft's website and start to ask questions in the help section or do it within the spreadsheet itself. I learned by getting projects in it and the person would show me how to do what I needed to do and I built my skills that way over the years. There are also books on Excel. It is an excellent and must needed tool for any analyst!

You will need those software programs. If you have those, all kinds of help, built in as well as on-line, and public chat rooms for aid.

Formulas and functions just have to be entered and proper syntax is learned, often by trial and error.

You may want to google that info., but be careful with some of the sites you come across because they may have viruses. Another possibility is to check your public library, (at my library they offer classes like that for free), or you can check at your local community college and they may provide that as well, good luck!
