In the US we call takeaway - "to go". Anyway, the # 1 and #2 to go things in the US are Pizza and Chinese food. Some people may add chicken to the list.
My favorite is Chinese. (what's yours Fish and Chips?)

Chinese . We don't have the Indian take aways in Canada that you have in England, nor do we have chip shops :(
