I am just asking, because aparently some of you think it is ok to shoot illegal immigrants when they cross the border, but if vigilantes do something illegal, you are against it....hmm

No. They should not be shot, but they should be arrested and pay for their crime.

No one would bevigilante and shoot anyone crossing the border unless the Senate bill passes, and certainly if the borders go.
But the minute men don't shoot anyone and what I'd be more for is shooting the ACLU which follows them each and everyplace any minutemen ever takes a step to capture on video any civil rights violations against them.
But - that's not why they should be shot. They should be shot because when they see illegals entering, they alert them to both the border patrol and minutemen or blow their horns or flash theirs lights to aid and abet them into crossing the border.
Who's the vigilante group now? the ACLU

That's a silly question. All they do is watch for illegal crossings and report it to the border patrol. Are you afraid for a more personal reason? Have there been any reports of Minute Men violence? I haven't heard of any. They are all races and from all states and are just people who have had problems on the border and want to do their duty as citizens to report illegal activity. Like if you saw someone breaking into your neighbors house and you called 911.

If it's not because of an illegal order as in warfare or a crime in itself, they should arrested and tried for a crime. Most of the time minutemen are going after people who want to kill Americans or American soldiers. If they do a crime they should be punished according to the law. The National Guardsmen are assisting the B.P., they aren't allowed to make arrests. If they are attacked they are allowed to defend themselves like everyone else.

NO! They report to the border patrol where the people are crossing and the border patrol arrests those coming across the border illegal.

I think the border fence should be built, and end all of the opportunities for such things to ever happen, frankly. Do you support the fence, do you see the merits of preventing acts of violence/desperation from ever happening in the first place?

What are you talking about???!!!?? The Minutemen are a great group of Americans that want their country to be safe from foreign invaders! If someone shoots another person, regardless of who they are should be prosecuted.

Never! If the person wasn't trying to enter the country illegally, bodily harm would never occur.
