how do you best deal with stress? for example: take a walk, take a bath, read a book...? looking for the best and most useful answers.

I do yoga and meditate. Or go for a run.

It depends on what type of stress I am dealing with at the time.
If I am ever fighting with someone like a boyfriend or just have a lot on my mind, I like to keep a notebook and write exactly how I am feeling at that moment. That always seemed to help get things off my back and to remember things I need to say.

When I feel stressed about things to do and not organized I keep a to do list and a goal list. Also keepingmy house clean helps me feel happier and less stressed.

Sometimes going outside to just sit in the sun makes me feel relaxed and calm. Especially by a pool.

Also getting away from whats making you stress and sit back and take a deep breath and just think about things.
They also say excerise is a good stress reliever. Try to think positive !!

Working out relieves tension, yoga does too. Meditate for about a half hour a day while you only focus on a relaxing place, nothing else, deep breathing. Keep your mind busy with anything fun, relaxing, a long hot bubble bath with candles, herbal tea.

my favorite thing to do is take a long drive, by myself, to no where in particular (i drive up in the mountains where i dont get cell phone service) and i jam to my favorite music or song at the time and let myself just calm down. i need to get away from everything when i get too stressed

Music is a good one, find a song that you connect to..or makes you feel awesome....and depends on what kind of stress it is, if its of jealousy or somthing along those lines just say F*ck it..whos cares....is all good. you only live once...have fun, be happy
