I was in art class once, likely it was the 10th grade.
There were 9th graders in there, just a few. (You know they are usually terrified, because it's a new school, AND they're new to highschool.)

there were some 10th graders, but many of them looked frightened, too

even what few 11th and 12th graders were in there, looked a little bit more in control, but kept quiet, stayed to themselves.

This is what I observed while the Art teacher, white-haired bi-focaled man that he was, droned on about the art class rules.

When he finally shut up, I talked. I decided to be the one to break the ice, because even the really super popular people that went to the school seemed nervous 'cause new people were in there.

We talked, we laughed, we broke the ice. Many grades/ages, many backgrounds, day by day it got easier and easier.

But somebody's gotta talk, or everyone will stay on edge.
And I'm not tryina put no pressure on ya, but that somebody may have to be you. You will have to introduce yourself, shake hands, suck it up.

Ask folks about this teacher, ask folks about this class. Ask them about the principal, e.g. if they are crazy or not, nice, etc.

in fact, since you're new, ask some of the students you trust to show you around the school. Those that are really cool will also stick around you to see if you're getting by okay, and wanna get to know you and stuff. And you will be alright.

Don't worry. You'll make some new friend in your classrooms. Just start a friendly conversation like "So what do you think about today's class? or "Wierd how the weather's been changing a lot, what did you do to keep cool?" Don't be shy and good luck.

For starters, learn how to spell school
Everyone loves a friend that can spell

More seriously, the easiest way is to just go up to people and start talking to them. If you like em, you're friends.

Especially try to find other new people. That way they won't feel left out!

Join a lot of school clubs and productions. That's the best way to meet new people and those who share the same interests as you.

"Skool" is spelled "college" there are various interior the U.S. that have the summer season off (with some human beings going to summer season college). some places have "twelve months 'around" meaning they have college all twelve months long, yet with smaller breaks between semesters (which in lots of cases are for the time of trip journeys).

first I would learn how to spell school, and then I would be myself and see what activities the school has that you might like, jump right in. Don't lower your standards, "just to make friends". It will be fine. You are about to create some great memories for later!

Talk to people. Meet them. They will soon become your friends.
