school is for learning, not a popularity contest
okay school can be a popularity contest.
I can tell you to join the cheer leading squad, dress really cool, don't hang out with nerdy folks, put people down, act stuck up. Act too grown for your age. I've seen it happen.
But, I beleive popularity is insiiiide of you. If you don't have it inside of you, things you do at school can't do it for you.
I've seen one girl, in highschool, come to school sooo raggedy the next day, because their field trip bus didn't come get them from an event too late. She said loud and proud that she hadn't even brushed her teeth yet, at band practice, 2:45 something in the afternoon. And she could pull that off. Why? Because she was insanely popular. They just laughed like it was cute.
If I did that, I'd have been stared to ridicule, to infinity
I wasn't a super-confident person either, though. People feel those vibes. I'm a little better now though, but I didn't do it for them. In the end, you could say, I did it for myself.
You don't necessarily have to be mean and stuck-up to be popular, but that inner thing you must have is confidence and it will show on your outside, even if you're dressed really poopy one day.

Popularity isn't all that. Concentrate on getting a good education. Do you think Bill Gates was popular in school? Heck no, but he is now.

By being smart and at the top of the class.
By being friendly.
By having a nice and outgoing personality.

why should it matter to you how popular you are? You come to school to get oyur education, if people won't like you for who you are...TOUGH!!! Just be yourself.....thats all you need to do. And get your education!!!

who cares about bein popular i mean as long as you have alot of friends and are happy then isnt that all that matters
