I think that people cheat due to low self esteem in their relationship. There is something going on inside of them that they feel the need to cheat. I'd say if I were to cheat, it would probably be because i'm so unhappy in my relationship that my self esteem needs a boost. And I think that we'd pick someone opposite our mate because we'd think someone just like them would make us miserable. The opposite would make us happy. I've been cheated on in the past and its not good. But I finally realized that I was better off and it was his loss, not mine. To this day he's still a loser.

There is no right answer as to why a person cheats. Most people cheat for different reasons. Such as: bored with the relationship, needed more adventure, tired of the same old thing, courious, it just happen, and so on and so on. It isn't right and its not fair but it does happen and when it does just move on with your life because once a cheater well you know

I think there's a lot of reasons that people cheat. Some do it because they are not happy with their mate, some do it because they like the thrill of smeaking around, and some do it because they like a variety of partners. Whatever the reason it doesn't make it right.

They're selfish (they want more than they deserve to have), they're spineless (they don't have the guts to break off the first relationship), and they're needy (they don't want to lose the comfort of the relationship that they already have). Oh, and I almost forgot - they're scumbags for lying and cheating....
They usually go for the total opposite because they want something they don't already have.

People cheat because they are unsatisfied in their relationship and don't have enough respect for their partner to either work things out or end it before they cheat.

People cheat for many reasons.. if you arent pleasing your man sexually he will go and get himself someone to fill in that part of his life that his girl isn't doing...Maybe he really doesn't want to be with you or maybe he's just not ready to settle to one girl or guy, there are many reasons it all depends on which category you fall in.

There are a lot of reasons why people cheat, boredom, insecurity, or they are just plain butt holes.
There are the girls you bring home and introduce to your parents and then there are the girls that you don't bring home to your parents. Girls that you marry vs. the girls that are just a good time.

Because they feel unappreciated by their mate...and learn to hate all those mate's traits..weight, laugh, work ethic, etc.

people cheat because of opportunity......why the opposite???my guess is that they are hypocrites.....
