It is obviously hard to generalize about these things because the reasons we live on are stronger than the pains and sufferings that go along with living longer.

Dont think age has that much to do with it.. I'm 65 and feel 40.. I knew I was old at 60.. As for when is it not worth the pain of staying alive,Well never, Life is way to short as it is.. There are people out there at 20 who dont think its worth going on, WRONG!Life is only what you make it, never give up.. I never will!! Your friend from Tennessee...ROB

It is more of an individual thing. As you age you body wears out & things become harder to do. If you yake better care of yourself you can put off aging or slow it down. As to when living becomes to hard
to put up with there are some very young (Twenty somethings) people who find life hard and there are very old (Eightys & ninetys) people who have life hard but still find life worth living.

Old is just a 3 letter word, and you're only as old as you feel. I think life is a precious gift and I'm looking forward to every day I have, even if the conditions aren't the best!

i realized i was old at 20. i wasn't a teenager anymore. i had to start being responsible for things i did. i am 22 now and life sucks. lol. but is is worth all of the pain suffering blah. only because of my beautiful son.

I am probably the more elder of the group. My physical capacity has been reduced but, the mental remains vital and active... I don't have to live with any pains or aches so that makes me one of the fortunate ones.

You are old when you can no longer look around and see people 20 years older than you.
