Well I am way healthier and can run a good 8 miles in about an hour and a half, from 1 mile in 20 min. So what i was wondering was im still a big guy in general im 6'3 210 but in good shape, i was just wonderin why i havent become "skinny" is it just my body type or what i dont care if i am or not i was just wondering if there was something i could do about it my friends say im just a football type build. yeah some answer would be nice and trust me im not self concious im just curious.

Muscle weighs more than fat. If you lost a lot of fat but gained muscle that could be why you are still bigger. Besides, you actually are in your target weight range (I'm a dietitian, I know). Because you are so tall. So you are just fine weight-wise and much healthier than before. Keep it up! Quit smoking completely though. Even smoking less than before will still put you at a higher risk for all kinds of cancers (not just lung) The sooner you quit, the better it will be!

You will live healthier, longer, have more energy and extend your sexual abilities and length. I mean of service. Your lungs and circulatory systems will be much stronger. You might consider a 'life long' plan to include 'weight bearing exercises'. Ask any doctor. Your bones become much stronger and last longer.

So you're doing just fine in the running department. Increase your OUTput by doing push ups, chin ups and/or joining a gym. That way you're increasing your OUTPUT.

Next, DEcrease your INPUT and caloric intake (it's hard to get thinner if you eat a gallon of Super-Premium Ice Cream every day). ! You'll get lean. Good luck!

It's probably just your body type, there's nothing wrong with it. The fact that you can run 8 miles shows that you ARE healthy. Hell, I know many skinny people that couldn't run half that distance.

Besides LOTS of girls like "bigger" guys - I do...I don't like some scrawny dude...give me a real man any day baby.....

There are people that can never be skinny... Like me for example... I could die from dieting but could not go below 135, and I am 5'6''... Now I have gone fat again, so getting back to it... Sighhhhh
