I dont know if it matters or not but this is for riding in Connecticut.

You are suppossed to have one- but cops dont usually check for them. Once i got stopped and asked for a boaters liscense (luckily i had one) but as long as you stay away from canals and places like that i think you're ok. They dont stop you in the middle of open water.

Well, in Puerto Rico you need a boating license, but each US jurisdictions is different, however i believe that naval laws are the same anywhere in the country which would mean that at least you need a permit. Don't risk it if you don't know go to your local chapter and find out, the fines are way higher in the water!

Yes, I never heard of a boating license. We have to register our boats, but need no license to drive them!

dont need one to do that just be 12 or 14 . but do something wrong it goes against your driving record?
