I think it's weird if you two were raised together, or were close over the years, as family, within the family setting. If it's something else, like you two rarely saw each other while growing up and connected up later as adults - then that seems very acceptable. It's all tied up in the family ties so to speak.

Step families have enough problems to deal with without added complications! My brother married my step sister and when they split up my Dad had to take her side as thats what my step mum did and my brother and dad haven't spoken in 5 years and it's made an already sketchy realtionship between me and my dad and my dad and my sister almost non existent!

Yes. I wouldn't want my daughter and my step-son to date. It would just be weird since they were brought up like real brother and sister for most of their lives.

I think it would be a bit weird, but technically there is nothing wrong with it. If both of you are comfortable with it, great. But do remember that a nasty break up could have horrible consequences for the family as a whole

That depends on a lot of things, for instance do you all live in the same home and how long you have been step siblings, why not ask your parents and her parents, to me that would be the best thing to do

Yes. She is your step sister. I think the only exception is if you were dating before your parents got married.

No, you are not really related, but the wedding invitations are going to be pretty confusing.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith would like to invite you to the joining of their children, John and Jane, in holy wedlock.
That would be an invitation that would end up on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Lets just put it this way, your step sibling would not be "the one" for you. I don't think fate as a match maker would give be cruel enough to destin your step sibling as your soul mate. I hope my answer makes sense.

There is no rule or law that says you can not date or marry your step sister. Do not allow narrow mindedness to dictate what is appropriate and what is not. Good luck
