I have the gel fueled one and my neighbor got the electric fueled one. I love the look of mine, but don't use it as often as she uses her electric one. Hers has a fan and mine doesn't. Hers really has no smell to it whatsoever and mine emits this strange chemical smell. Once it even set off my carbon monoxide detector and that is when I stopped using it. If I had the choice to make again, I would get the electric one.
If you go with wood blinds they will make your brown furniture pop and create a warm environment. You can stay in the beige, taupe, warm sienna and tan colors on the walls to accent both the furniture and blinds while not clashing with the peachy tone.
As for the cushion for your nook, 4 feet long may be hard to find. You can check Home Decorators online or their catalog, Pier1 and Cost Plus World Market both have some in their stores for their wicker and wrought iron furniture that may work. But it is easy to make one yourself. Just get some high density foam at the fabric store or discounters. Wrap it in batting. Measure the depth, width and length of the cushion leaving a 1-2 inch seam allowance. It is all straight line sewing from there. You may even want to give yourself a velcro opening for easy removal and cleaning.

The success of any decorating scheme depends on how well it suits all the members of your family. To create a décor that you will be happy with, think about what you want and also what you don’t want.
It’s a good idea to know what you have before you begun to change things. As you begin to pull your design ideas together, think about your preference and what will work in your home.
Color can work wonders... it can change the look of a room and change your feeling about the room. You can start by looking through magazines, and catalogs. Give yourself plenty of time, it will take longer than you think, and your ideas will develop as you go.
Gathering samples is a great way to begin. If you are starting with a color, your samples might include fabric, paint chips, wallpaper, carpet, wood, stone, and tile.
Knowing what you can spend on a project will give you a clearer idea of what you can achieve. If you’ll on a limited budget, mark off those things that will make the most difference, such as a new wall color and a new sofa.
You can set the mood of a room in lots of ways, such as lights, and furnishings. There are no hard or fast rules or must-do sequence for this process.

I think you should go with Tuscan colors, kind of warm glowing sunset colors.
Also when you have a large area all strung together it can look really awkward. I would recomend trying to break it up into smaller spaces, with focals in each area.
You can create visual breaks with the way seating is grouped or a a bookcase or two.
For the cushion you could make one yourself. Go to hancock fabric and buy the foam and then you can get any fabric you want. Straight seams are really easy to sew. It is just going to be a two big rectangles of fabric with a strip of fabric wrapped around the side for the heigth of the cusion. Super easy. They will be able to help you at the store.
For more good ideas try IKEA.

Well if your furniture is dark brown then you might want to paint your walls cream or mocha color. As for the blinds, go with the color white as it will bring out the color of your furniture. About the cushio try looking into Bed & Bath Beyond or Linen 'n' Things.

I would make the walls either a creamy, buttery color or a sage green. Wooden blinds should look good too.A cushion for your breakfast nook can be found at Target, Home Depot, Lowes. If you can't find the right size, make one, or use two sewn together.

go to www.behr.com and look at colors to see what matches with peach and dark brown, I would suggest maybe a maroon or another shade of red, it warms the room and makes it feel inviting. I would keep the blinds a light color so it doesn't make your room feel closed in
