First of all don't listen to what everyone else is saying....ANY intelligance job will not prepare you for a career as FBI agent because many of them have nonthing to do with law enforcement.

If you join the Airforce, you should consider AFOSI. Air Force Office of Special Investigations. They are like the FBI of the Air Force. They pretty much do the same thing. Another job in the Air Force is "Security Forces", which is just like a regular police officer.

There are a couple jobs out there. Intelligence is always good or going into military police is also good. Look at the job descriptions and try to compare them to the FBI/DEA description. Also talking with a recruiter is helpful..to a point. All they want is your signature so watch out. Do some research before hand. Also study before taking the ASVAP. The higher the score the more options you have.

The FBI used to prefer undergraduate degrees in accounting, language, political science, law degrees were or are a popular post graduate degree.
A job in Intelligence would be a good start for someone who is looking for an FBI job.

any of the above the navy has n.c.i.s and n.i.s. The air force has similar agencies. The coast guard however are the masters in those fields. I would suggest the puddle pirates in this case. Puddle pirates navy slang for coast guard.

A college degree is needed first and foremost. And the times being the way they are, any job that requires a second language, more than likely from the middle east.............

If you have to ask on Yahoo! Answers, maybe the FBI is not the best job for you.. Are you going to do all your investigations on Yahoo! Answers? Are you going to ask us if we know who the drug dealer is and where you can find him?? XD
