You picked him !!!!
ha ha ..that line is used here on a local radio station when people call up and complain about their ex'es...
My question to you would be if you have ever taken him to court, the court will garnish his wages and make him pay child support and back child support . They will also arrange payment methods to make up for his back child support much like the IRS does.
My children are over the age of 21,I paid till they were 21 and the last few years the child support was taken out of my paycheck but it is no longer.
My suggestion would be to call a lawyer immediately and there probably would be no charge to you,the court will appoint you one if you cannot afford one(no I didn't hear that on tv),because I know I had to pay for my ex wife's lawyer many times.
Actually when I hurt my back one year,I had the child support lowered and I took my ex wife to court because it was a "hardship" on me to continue paying higher child support with less wages.
My guess is that your husband is out of work or is working off the books.
If that is the case,I would contact the IRS ,or have the judge order him to show his W2's and furnish them for the court.
The court will determine how much money will be awarded to you based on his income.
You can check my answers with any lawyer and you will find that they are all true and accurate..
Why are there deadbeat dads out there ? ..probably because they are cheap, and selfish and only care about themselves and they think they don't have to be responsible for fathering a child.
In some states in this country they round up deadbeat dads and throw them in jail until restituion is obtained.
I know many woman who try to be "nice" to their ex'es ..why I don't know but their children suffer because of their stupidity.
How do I know this? Ans: because my own sister did it.
Take him to court pronto..and get restitution or at least get a peace of mind knowing that your ex'es wages will be garnished the next time he looks at his pay stub...
Sorry about the first line of this answer but I couldn't resist lol
Good luck!

Because he is a "L"oser just like my ex-husband.

Don't get me started, but hey I will start:

My ex-husband was self-employed, and when the divorce started he stopped taking jobs and doing work. He claimed he made $15,000 a year at the courthouse and I was unable to get any child support from him for my 2 boys. I wasn't looking for full support, I was willing to pay my half. So, I ended up paying for childcare and health insurance, and everything else and living with my parents because I could not afford to live on my own. So, 1 year from the date of the divorce, he purchased a $350,000 home.

Aren't Dead Beat Dads wonderful!

Dead beat Dads! They suck but so do all the dead beat Wife's out there. Stop Generalizing every Dad into a certain category! The way you ask the question kinda justifies why hes staying away from you!

He still needs to pay his end of the bargain just as all them dead beat Wife's out there have to do the same.

My ex called me on the phone and said that 30 dollars a week was too much to pay for child support. Then he offered me 2000 dollars and he would take our son off my hands.....I called him every name in the book and even made up a lot more..needless to say, I raised my son by myself.....and he turned out to be a really really good son .He met his dad when he turned 19, I never said bad things about his dad to him, so I was surprised when I asked him how it went and he told me he thought his dad was a big butthole.......and that's the truth!

you know they set child support so high that the man can't live on his own.he's not a dead beat if he sees the kids and does stuff with them ,spends time with them, just because your greety and want his money. I raised 4 kids with no child support, and we did just fine . you have rent, utilitys, and possible car pmt whether you have kids or not, the only expense is food and clothing and that doe's not come up to what the dads have to pay.if I was a guy i would kill the b**** before she got half my check.some guys are deadbeats the ones that dont see there kids and do make alot of money. but the average man cannot support themselves and you.

I have TWO baby daddies and they both owe me over 20k each (and the kids are still little!). I say that the child support system only works for honest non custodial parents. If you have dead beats, you can have them killed or just pray and wait. Those are your options. I'm doing the pray and wait thing. My kids deserve the best so I just work hard and make no mention of the missing parent around the kids. God has a way of working things out. Just stay focused on what is important. Money will come your way when you need it. You will see.

I know the feeling girlfriend but one thing that I have learned is that you can't make an adult do what they know they are suppose to be doing in the 1st place. It never amaze me that they can lay with you and have sex with you taking the most intimate part of you and when you are blessed with a child they disappear on you quicker than you can say Got ya! Its sad and believe me its not just you its all over. I had to take my daughter's dad to court for the same thing. He is highly pissed with me but I don't care because I didn't lay down and have sex with myself to have a baby. He had a part in it too and its only right. I depend on the Lord for my help not him and I'm gonna pray for you but why most men do this to their children is hard to explain but they are the one's loosing out on knowing a beautiful gift from God!

Many fathers don't think of the child. By not paying, he's punishing you because you're not getting "his" money.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to put a "lien" on his vehicles and house. This doesn't give you anything directly, but it prevents him from selling them until the debt to you is paid in full.

Well that sure is a lot of cash. You better get over the fact right now that you are not getting this money. Get off the computer and start finding ways to earn money.
