Why do we keep pet?

Pets is something that will keep you happy every time. When you are sad they will play with you and make you feel happy again. Sometimes when they feel sad you can do the same and make your pet feel happy and know that you are taking good care for them.

we keep pets, cause unlike children and men, they don't answer us back, give unconditional love!! and help relieve our stress levels so healthy for us (unless allergic to fur or feathers.....)

sad as it is, even many of those that have been abused at the hands of evil so and so, many still trust people, maybe they know their rescuers are not their to beat 7 bells out of them, cause they had an accident on the carpet cause they are only a 3 month old puppy.

children living on farms, have better immune systems and less chance of asthma and allergies too, than those without pets in the inner cities in spotless bacteria zapped homes, although smoking affected these results cause smoking is bad for babies, children and are beloved pets too. -- I know of a pet parrot, that died aged 35 (speices average age was 70+) a PM proved died due to owners chain smoking! so care for your pets properly.


so we keep pets for our own health and well being and we would be alot poorer without pets so if you have a pet learn to become that species whisperer, you and your pet will get so much more from life.

Some people shouldn't keep pets. They want them because they have low self esteem and they want something lower in the pecking order to boss around while others want exotic pets to show off. These people harm or neglect their animals.

For the right reasons sharing your home, loving and caring (properly) for an animal is richly rewarded by their love, loyalty and companionship.

Well i keep a pet because my maternal instincts attached me to to taking care of beings less capable then I. Since I don't have children and don't plan to for a while, my pet is the perfect alternative. This happens a lot which is why you find a lot of people owining animals. We are social beings and need the love and attachment pets give us.

We've built a society where we all live in little square boxes. We grow things in the garden, we feed the birds, and we put live flowers and plants and animals indoors.
These are acts of sanity in a mad world. Its normal for us to be surrounded by other living things.
Plus pets and plants have a massive advantage - when you're frazzled they are just less demanding. You can relax in their company, so that makes them feel like a good friend.

I have 2 cats. In addition to being great companions (when the BF is away to war it's nice having another living thing in the house), they make me laugh. My boys remind me to have fun and de-stress by being cute, or silly, or just napping. I enjoy spoiling them and being able to provide for them. The older cat is a rescue cat and I know he enjoys having a secure home again. The other one is spoiled and doesn't know just exactly how good he has it.

Because they give you unconditional love and ask only for cuddles, food and somewhere nice to sleep in return. Mmmmmm that sounds a bit like my hubby, oh well never mind, at least the dog doesnt argue back.
