I know Locks of love and Wigs for Kids use hair 10-12 inches long, but is there a place who buys or accepts donations of hair that is short?

Not that I am aware of. The need long hair, not short. The reason why is because you can't really sew in short hair on a wog very well. The next reason is, the reason they sell wigs that have long hair is so people can have them cut how they want. As far as I know, they don't want short hair. Sorry!

im not sure b/c the length has to be long so they can do something with it. just in case they mess up they have a few inches to play with. cut it, dye it, etc. the longer the better...but they should accept if people are willing to give their hair. if its your hair just let it grow out more.

Yes. They donate it to the cancer patients.
