you have to give yourself time to grief...although he may have been a jerk to you somehow you where attached emotionally...people become habits like anything that is around long enough...habits are hard to break, we become obsessive even about things that are bad. Everytime thoughts of him pop in your head think also about how bad you would feel if you went back with him and you gave him the opportunity to hurt you again...Now that would feel crappy. You did a great thing, but now you gotta stick it out. You go Girl- Keep busy, go to the gym, take a walk, talk to a friend and ask/her/him to be your lifeline everytime you feel weak..and as times passes so will the thoughts. GOOD LUCK

I went through a similar situation except that he was not my boyfriend but my husband. The day I started to love and respect myself is the day I let him go completly. I still think of him but now I love myself way to much to take bs from him.

Break up's are never easy. It's a good thing that you realize that he was not good for you. He will be in your head for a while or until you start seeing someone else. Don't give in girl.

Just get symbols of all the reasons you told him to bounce. For instance, if he wanted to do something sexually and you didn't/if he cheated get a pic of someone w/ a STD. And if he drank alot get one of a drunk driver killing someone's child..Do what it takes to let go of what is behind you and start anticipating the good things to come...... The best is yet to come!

just keep doing what you're doing. Remember why you broke up when you think about calling him.
Its hard, it always is....but will get better with time. I know it sounds cheesy but its true.

The sex must have been pretty good if you're pondering this hard.
