I like my best friend. We have been friends for three years now. He is single but he doesn't know that I like him again. How do I tell him i like him without flat out saying "I like you"? And how do I ask him if he likes me without saying "Hey do you like me"?

I would act quickly, before he becomes attached to someone else. Ok, so as he is your friend already, you can at least talk and see him when you want..

How about dropping a few hints when you see him? You could say stuff like 'you look good' or other compliments. Men react to touching as well. When you go out together, maybe just hold hands or something like that..

Ultimately, you both will have to talk about it, your problem is about breaking the ice. If your both of legal age to drink, maybe next time you go for a drink and loosen up, you could switch the talk to relationships etc and then drop even more hints to him. He will get the message, sooner or later.

Hopefully you will know if someone likes you by the vibes you get from them, but if not you will soon know if his behaviour towards you changes once you make your feelings known.

You have nothing to loose. If he does not go for you, I think your freindship will be closer than ever.

Good luck.

You say that you like your best friend. The real question is do you like him more than just the kind of like you would have for a friend? (love, Care Deeply....) The best way to ask would be to say Hey I just want you to know that I care about you very much. It is an open statement. But you will know how to proceed from the response you get from the friend.

Why not ask him to go to the movies -- something you think he'd really like to see. How about getting tickets to a local concert you think he'd like. How about calling him and taking him out for ice cream on one of these hot summer nights. You'll be able to tell by his reaction to these invitations how he feels. You could also bring up in conversation, "Hey, we really get along together, we should grab dinner together some night after work." Good luck.

If he's really your best friend, you should be able to ask him anything. So if you need to ask, just ask.
But keep in mind some questions are best left unanswered. Sometimes maintaining a platonic friendship is more important than exploring the below-the-belt feelings you might have for someone.

well; i have defiantly been there. its hard to tell a guy that you've been friends with that you have feelings for him. my advice is to 1. let him no in person. its not a good idea to tell him over a text message or email let him no in person when hes not around his friends. 2. you don't have to be too direct with it you can say something like "i don't want our friendship to change or anything but i think that i need to be honest to have a good friendship; the thing is i think i may have feelings for you beyond friendly ones." it willl let him no that you still want to be friends no matter what. don't pressure him to answer you tell him "you want to no his feelings about you, so whenever hes ready to talk is good." it will give him time to absorb what you've told him & also let him no that you want something more out of your relationship. if he doesnt let you no then he might not be ready for a intimate relationship. hope everything goes well :]

Its a tricky one alright, but if you really like him and are sure you want to go for it then just do it. Just be sure that you can go back to being friends if it doesnt work out the way you want. I would suggest you talk to him, ask him if he ever thinks of you as more than a friend.

Just give him little signs that yuo like him. Flirt a little maybe he will flirt back. Then when the time comes ask him " hey do you like me" just sit down and talk to him

Don't worry about just saying it. Go for it. I wished I had told the guy I liked in high school that I liked him. I don't think he ever knew. But don't worry if he doesn't like you. I still found the man of my dreams in college.

I believe if you like someone him or her just tell them that you like them. Time is too short to let go anything like this, better say it now that regretting later right? So go ahead tell him or her that you like him, no one will takes offense. all the best
