Recently bought some 275/40 ZR17s all around and the front tires stick out a bit. Does not look cool and it bothers the hell out of me. Deciding on buying some smaller wheels, maybe 255/40s, but the tires aren't cheap. Found spacers that would do the trick and cheaper than the tires, but not sure about buying them. So I must ask, how safe are they, when you have 302 rwhp and used every one those horses daily?

Wheel spacers are really bad idea. Lost a wheel on buick wagon one time with them they seem to cause the lugs to loosen all the time. Do it the right way.

If yer broke,,,,,do it the best way you can,,,don't tell anyone how ya did it,,,,and drive it 'til the wheels fall off !!!!!,,,,,,,,When I was a kid I couldnt afford to jack my car up high enough to fit the wheels I wanted in the rear,,,,so I extended the shocks and strapped 2x4's to them,,,,,I had a hard tail,,,,,the cool part was,,,,when I floored it,,,the shocks couldnt go down,,,,so the front end came up !!!!,,,,,(((point is...))),,,,I had a blast for 3 months,,,,then I saved the money and fixed it right.
