get her to the vet, if she is in pain then now would be the time to have her put to sleep (heartbreaking I know but better then watching her in pain) if she is not ask the vet about mixing half cottage cheese with half canned hills science diet senior/or liver disease food-very digestable and gives lots of protein to help her stay strong, but I suspect its getting to be time for the big sleep( try to do it last thing on a friday that way you will have the weekend to regroup a little bit before you have to go back to work or whatever on monday...this does help I swear I have had to do it with 4 of my animals in my life and worked at a vet for a few years and thats what I advised our clients to do

I would go to the vet .My dog is 14 and I use keopectate one table you would have have to break a quarter of that tablet off because my dogs 50 pounds .Also you can boil some lean hamburger and rinse .When you boil it in water it pulls the oil out make sure you break it up while your cooking it I use an old fashion potato masher.Than rinse the hamburger so theres not alot of oil and than mix it with some white rise .The rice will help the digestive system. My dog has not been able to tolerate alot of food because of his old age to.The rice helps them from not getting diaria. Also cottage cheese is nice and bland food for upset stomach but not for all dogs. You can also use a food processor. Break the meals up .like a little three times a day instead of once that makes a big difference on there digestive system. Also you can use baby strain meats but threes not much in there for your pet .I also have used yogart and veggies.Potatoes are good but never give them the peeling. My dog has IBM so I have had to do this for years. Good luck. The vet should be able to help to.The best thing I found was breaking up the meal times for my dog

Take her to the vet and ask for his/her advice. If they have suggestions which you try and they don't work, then I think the solution is to be strong. Tell yourself that you gave her a good, long life, that she was your loving companion, and that now is the time to do right by her and have her put down. I know it's incredibly hard, but it's the best thing for the pet. Don't hang onto her when you know she's suffering. I have gone through this with 3 dogs and 3 cats. It's never easy, but it's the kindest action you can do.

Try to get her dog food for old dogs. I know Iames makes it. See if that is easier for her to digest if she still has problems you should take her to the vet. It could be something as simple and giving her a pill everyday. I hope everything works out. Good luck love.

Try rice and cooked chicken ...put in blender. You could add some small cooked veggies as well!
Try the senior or puppy wet food (science diet makes a good one) and mix with a lil water....it is easily digested!
Just Love the time you have left. As long as she is not in pain I see no need to put her down!!

If you haven't done so, take her to the vet to see if there's a reason why she's not digesting her food.
It could be an illness or you might need to change her food.
If you don't have her on senior food, try switching to that to see if it helps.

Take her to the vet!! I just had a similar problem with my 16 year old mutt, and it only cost us about $80 for him to examine and medicate her. She is fine now. If the vet recommends putting her down though, I would definately do it. You don't want to watch her die in pain.

they do make a food that is more easily digestable, you have to get it at the vets office.

Put your good old friend out of his misery. Be kind and unselfish-have him put to sleep in your arms. He'll pass away knowing that you loved him.
