Everybody has different finger prints. Finger prints are the only way you can distinguish between identical twins.

Identicle twins are not completely identicle. The power plants of each cell are called mitochondria. Each cell has many of them. each mitochondrion has 23 genes, in it. These are genes that are not on the chromodomes that are located in the nuclea of each cell. (each cell has one nucleus, and that nuclea has most of the D.N.A. (i.e. gene material). the mothers egghas all the mitochondria. Sperm have none. So we get theses mitochondria from the female fertilised egg. Identical twins arise when the egg splits in two after the first or second cell division. The two new fertilised eggs, have the same D.N.A. but their mitochondria are split into two groups and each mitochondrion is slightly different hereditary wise from all the others Different enough to affect fingerprint patterns and other subtle differences that these twins exhibit. Also each of the two eggs experiences slightly different environmental microconditions than the other while developing in the uterus. That can effect control genes that affect many other genes each. The methylation process of chromosomes may also be slightly different in each egg, if the split happens early enough. Methylation turns off genes and it turns off most of one x chromosome in girls. A girl has two copies of the x sex chromosome. Recently (this year), a new method of diversity has been found in developing brain cells. A very common transposon (i.e. jumping gene sequence), (I think it's A.L.U.), seems to be very active in those developing brain cells ,snipping itself out of D.N.A. and reinserting itself in a random fashion into D.N.A. strands. This process may account for the great differences seen in brain cells. Only the functional brain cells survive. By about age 3 the non-functional cells are destroyed. The scope of differentiation is colossal.
So identicle twins aren't truly identical. But they are very similar.
Dan.

Because Identical Twins do not have the exact same DNA and genes... points to an intelligent designer!

There is a certain degree of randomization that occurs during the formation fo fingerprints.

Different fingers. Not trying to be rude, but that is the only way I can explain it.

So the police can prove which one did the crime. Don't you think God would have thought of that?
