I noticed this morning that my cat has a bunch of small, hard, bumps on his neck that look kinda like pimples. He hasn't been scratching excessively and they are a little crusty. It also didn't look like ticks. Could he have tumors or cysts? These are right below the skin.
We just moved, could it be stress?

Thanks for the info, but it's not on his chin. It's on the back of his neck down around his throat area. Anyone ever experience this?

Sounds like the beginning of a staph infection not acne. Cats can get whats called Chinese Acne but its around the chin and is caused by feeding from plastic bowls and will usually clear up when you switch to glass or stainless steel.

My cat had feline (chin) acne. He looked as if he had a big lip with chew in it and also his lip/chin area turned black. Took him to the vet and had told us that it was acne at first I thought she was crazy I had never heard of feline acne, guess that's why im not a vet. She had popped one to show me and she had given him a steroid shot which cleared it up within a day.

I know that cats can get "cat acne" but it's usually on and around their chin. It could be ring worms, which isn't actually a worm, it's a fungus, look it up on the web and see if that is what it looks like. If so, you need to take him to a vet, because that can be passed along to you, so you want to get it cleared up asap

Cats can get acne. If you see little pimples on your cat's chin, they may be a reaction to plastic dishes. Switch to stainless steel or ceramic bowls, and dab the acne daily with a cotton ball soaked with a little peroxide until it disappears.

Sounds like a skin infection. Pimples are just blocked follicles and pores. Any mammal can get them.
Take the cat to a vet though.

Yes cat get feline acne. They especially get it when eating out of plastic feeding dishes. Take your cat to the vet to have them checked out. Good luck.

My cat had feline acne on her chin not long ago... it eventually cleared up on its own. My vet says you can try swabbing it with alcohol once a day.

They get feline acne. This comes from them not cleaning themselves well. If you wipe them down regularly with a wet rag you can prevent this.
