You think too much!
Things are not always what they seem. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. That's "blind faith". I go on blind faith that I will get a paycheck each month from clients. I go on blind faith that come morning I'll still be around.

I can see what you've typed, but I can't touch you...Does that mean there is no physical proof that you exist, except as a person behind the computer asking this question?

You certainly know how much your mom LOVES you. Yet you can neither see it or touch LOVE. Similarly there are many concepts. God is one of them. You needed some one who is the author of all that you survey.The earth ,the moon, sun. stars. galaxies ,nebulae and the universe as a whole. There is no way you can explain creation of so much matter out of nothing. Rationale, logic and scientific laws do not allow this (as per law of conservation of mass). Therefore we have God to explain away all this creation. Then gradually you associate many qualities to him and so on the story goes! So there is scientific proof.
