O.K. bud, you asked this a day or two ago, didn't ya?
I ate a banana today, does that make me more of a monkey than usual? Am I de-evolving like in that episode of Star Trek (TNG) when picard turns into a big marmoset? LOL
See ya tomorrow.

Evolution will ALWAYS be words with no evidence to back it. Because it's not true. I honestly don't know how you can actually believe in evolution. And the question, "If we evolved from monkeys then why are there still monkeys?" if there was an answer to it, maybe it wouldn't be asked anymore. But, the first time I heard that question, I was 16, I'm now 25 and I STILL have not heard anyone answer that.

I'm confused. You ARE Jim Darwin, the Level 5 atheist, right? You of all people should know that humans and apes share PARALLEL branches of the evolutionary tree. There are still monkeys simply because not ALL of them were changed by God or the Flying Spaghetti Monster into humans.

The noodly appendage touched the human form and protected it from Annihilation Through Evolution (ATE). Remember what is written in Main Course 2:1-5
"For the monkey did henceforth cometh
and man frolicked in sinful ripe Tomatoes,
when our Lord did thus toucheth thy Holy Noodle
and saveth us from being ATE.
Praise Her Holy Sauce. Amen."

Basic misconception here - one did not evolve FROM another - the idea is that humans, chimps, orangs, apes and bonobos evolved from a common ancestor. As far as proof for evolution goes, there's plenty - the fundie cry for the missing link is foolish- there was not 1 crossover animal, things happen gradually over time.

People still evolve. That's why we can for example stand the air polution and the poisening in our nutricion these days. Put somewhere from a few hundred years back in this time, and they will become ill very quick.

It's clear that apes/monkeys and humans are closely related. Actually, evolution was taught in my school when I was still in school. I remember watching a video in school about "The missing link". (I'm sure you're familiar).

I've read similar hypotheses involving early humanoids (Australopithecus or something similar) mating with apes, thereby further confusing the evolutionary tree.
Here we go, an article from the Post, I know it's not exactly what you were talking about, but...
