In terms of how short "should" her hair be, I think that's basically up to her. I think that women of "a certain age," however, should stay away from really long hair unless it's in excellent condition. It just isn't as flattering to older women.

As for frizziness...there are lots of products on the market that can help with that. Go with her to a store and start searching.

Well to answer your hair length question....i prefer long hair better so she should grow her hair out..maybe?.unless she doesnt like it or it looks bad on her....really its her own decision...and there are many hair products that help treat frizz and prevent it....try out those new products...hairapy products that fix any type of hair damage....and frizz..and straightness

My mother is 69 and her hair is well-below her shoulders. It looks good though. When she was 55 her hair was even longer. My dad used to bug her to get it cut. I'm 41 and my hair has always been longish. I get it cut every now and then but right now it is nearly to the half-point of my back.

For a product she should try a shampoo for frizzy hair..Frizzease?...I don't know how to spell that.
