I am 31 years old and pee sitting down. Seems far more sanitary. Urine is not splashing all over the walls, floor, and myself; not to mention it is just more relaxing and makes the whole experience more enjoyable.

It's really ok - but better for a boy to learn to stand up to pee. My guess is that he's spending more time learning from you, than a father figure.
A boy who sits down to pee, will be noticed in school.
Get a man to help. If not his father, then a good father figure that the boy looks up to. Boys learn how to be men - from men. And this is one of the few things that women cannot teach a boy.

Well here are my thoughts about that....what difference should it. We as a society are the ones that have defined what is masculine and feminine to such a degree that we now find it necessary to worry about whether are children are sitting or standing to go to the bathroom. My God give the kid a break. He will be thrust into his appropriate masculine role soon enough and maybe at this stag in his life it just seems easier to sit. So what! Are we going to start judging him already? Good grief!

Medical wise there is nothing wrong with it. Starting school and going to the bathroom with other boys he may get teased a little but he will also learn how to do it the big boy way, don't worry he'll get it in time my son did it until he was 5yrs

You want him to learn like big boys? My son is 2 and he learn how to pee standing because of the Lil' Mark. Is inexpensive, I hope it works for you also (don't worry about the hight, you can put it on the wall in your place.

Probably ok for now...I'm sure he'll grow out of it. Maybe your son and your husband should go pee-pee together so he can see dad. Most boys like to mimic their fathers.
Nonetheless, it's shouldn't be a huge concern.

I think it is fine. But when he goes to school he might get picked on and all. Maybe like others have suggested he should go with his dad and see him do it. Boys learn from dad or other male figures in their life. But also teach him not to pee in the floor and teach him to wipe if he sprinkles.

Yeah thats fine. Alot of my friends sons do that. My son is six and stands doing it but Im sure once you show him what to do he will then start doing it. Get your hubby to show him and if you are a single mum then no worries just show him what to do. Dont worry to much about this.

Nothing is wrong with it. I am training my son to sit down. If we can sit for both so can a guy. And it will make his future wife happy someday.
