Corona is my favorite and very unique tasting and light flavored, but if you want a darker one, try Pete's Wicked Ale or a local microbrew. Where do you live? There's also a good dark Mexican beer called "Negra Modelo" that is pure deliciousness. Good luck!

Morimoto Black Obi Soba Ale. It's sort of like a Japanese Guinness, only better. Really smooth dark beer with a slightly chocolatey aftertaste and a great head. Comes in nice big 22 oz bottles. Actually rather phallic when you think about it....

Here are a couple of good ones if you can find them: (1) Tooheys Old, Australian, dark, smooth, not heavy. (2) McCewans IPA, a scottish beer, a pale ale, smooth and high in alcohol content.

Good Hunting...

Black Butte Porter.
Or....if you have thirty days to spare, learn to make your own. I highly recommend it. I dont particularly like beer taste per se. But Ive enjoyed the taste of homemade more than anything.

Try a Scottish ale or a porter. English-style barleywines are like that, too.
