It sure is. Under a microscope you'll see millions of yeast bacteria swimming around fighting each other for the stuff. They have heads and tails and a single horn, but no eyes. They sort of look like knots of worms. They're mostly clear and you can actually see the insides of them moving too. Don't worry, they won't hurt you unless you eat too many.

Hey Edna,
YUP! Alive as you and I are!
Anything that can grow mold (Milk, Cheese, Bread, Meat) is a living organism. Lucky for us, it is not able to walk out of our fridge.
That being said (before everyone jumps on my case) -- The LIVING part happens to be the organisms that live off the host. Living organisms (except us and a few insects) don't eat dead things (I'm not talking about the dead cow, it's organs still have living things in them) That's why we don't have animals digging up things that have been dead for months for a quick meal.
Under a microscope, you might not see things "moving around", but you will definitely see living organisms.
Good Eating!

Yogurt itself isn't alive, (the white stuff)
The liquid you see on top before you stir it in on the other hand is likely to be where a lot of the bacteria are.
Stir it in anyway. It's good for you. It helps keep your intestinal health in balance.

Something like that. Yogurt is one of the few "living" foods that we eat. It's basically milk with a bacteria living inside it. It's a good bacteria.

Yes, yogurt is alive. What yogurt likes most of all is the extreme sport yogurt calls riding down the alimentary canal of pretty girls.

Yogurt is teeming with wildlife. I don't know why vegetarians eat it.
I guess the poor little creatures cry out when ingested by un-feeling humans.
Down with yogurt!
