well i have liked this boy for a while now and we get on great! He has told my friend he really likes me but he hasn't told me. Is that strange or is it usual for guys to tell your friend?

Yeah, its normal for a guy to tell his friend before he tells you because most likely hes too shy to tell you. Just come up to him one day and ask who he likes. It'll be a surprise what he says!

It is pretty normal for a guy to tell a friend just see what your reaction would be. He is hoping your friend will tell him if you like him or not without putting the friendship between the 2 of you in jeapordy. Let your friend know you the boy as well, then sit back and wait from him to talk to you.

that is very usual for the guys to tell to the friends friends how they feel about the girl they like. why? because they want to hear some opinion first to know if this girl gonna like him or not or just need a liitle kick from his friends to give him support. He might be just waiting for the right time to tell you so unless he is really a shy type guy or don't have a balls to tell you. it depends also what he really means he likes you.

No its not unusual for a guy to tell a girl's friend, If i was you i would let everything play out and when he is ready let him tell me, you don't want to seem overly excited but you want to simply act like a lady and maybe he has a great plan to tell you himself, but for right now he let you in on that he likes you because a guy knows if he tells the friend of the girl he likes it will go straight to her lol! So, just be patient and when He is ready he will let you know , who knows it could me one of the most precious times in your life to remember if you like him as much as you say, good luck and i hope everything works out for the best!

Don't worry its normal for guys to act liek this he may be shy and nervous around you. Give him time to tell you and telling your friend may have been an obvious chocie for u to discover. If not u cud always trya nd make the first move but do it slowly harmless flirting never hurt anyone!!

It's not unusual, though everyone is different. Sounds like he's a bit shy, and is probably waiting for you to make the next move. Go on, do it, what have you got to lose?

totally normal a guy that i STILL like told his friend that he liked me but never told me atleast not yet so just stick it out and if you can ask him yourself but thats after you build up alot of selfesteem. GOOD LUCK

Look he likes you, you like him, someone has to make the first move and guys love it when the girl does... makes her sexier and enables him to relax and make his move knowing you aint going to have him arrested for being a perve or stop being his friends or go all psycho.
So to make two people happy instead of there being two sad folk ask him out to the cinema and snog him
